Sometimes I wonder at the human capacity for memory and accessing thing.
Today I saw a student that I had in one of my sessions about two years ago. She was not remarkable in personality, intelligence or engagement with the material; she never crossed my mind when I didn't see her. Yet, the moment I saw her and we exchanged pleasantires I knew our shared context and I remembered her name.
